The setup
Sofia mentions, almost in passing, that her sister is staying the weekend. Her boyfriend shrugs, then meets a perfect copy of his girlfriend, and his inner monologue swears in disbelief. Zoe is the louder half of the pair: she calls him cute on arrival, ignores Sofia's request to behave, and gets close enough while hanging up her bag to make him sweat. By the pool the twins trade notes on underwear and on him in the same breath. He closes the episode convinced he is headed somewhere very warm.
Episode 2
Episode 2 stays poolside and mostly inside his head. He is alarmed by his own reaction to watching the sisters, and then Zoe sweetly asks Sofia whether she minds him handling the sunscreen. Sofia says the sisters share everything. Zoe wants to know exactly how far that policy extends, and the episode ends on an agreement that sounds a lot bigger than lotion.
Who's who
- The boyfriend: narrating his own panic and losing every argument with his eyes
- Sofia: the girlfriend, relaxed to the point of recklessness about her sister
- Zoe: the twin, flirtatious from her first line and openly testing the house rules
Viewers who enjoy the twin fantasy played as light comedy, with a narrator who knows exactly how doomed he is.
You want conversation: most of the dialogue is his panicked inner voice and a few poolside one-liners.
Verdict: 6.0 out of 10
The concept does the heavy lifting. Twins, a pool, a girlfriend who seems oddly relaxed about her sister: the show sets the pieces down and lets the boyfriend's horrified narration do the rest. Zoe gets the best lines, Sofia gets the most intriguing one, a casual remark about sharing that could mean anything. The free episodes are slight but tidy. The real question for the paid rest is what Sofia actually knows, and the show is smart enough to leave it open.
