The setup
Danny takes a personal training gig that pays five thousand a week for a single client, and he skipped the important questions. The client is Simone, Mr. Grant's wife, who treats every form correction as an invitation. Her husband greets Danny warmly and keeps announcing how eager she has been. Mid-session, Danny's girlfriend calls and he insists the job is perfectly normal. Then Mr. Grant catches him looking and does not get angry. He explains that he designs her weekly program himself, and this week it is whatever she wants.
Episode 2
Episode 2 lays out the rules. Sessions happen poolside at eleven and Simone dictates the tempo, which in practice means helping with shoulders she cannot reach and standing far too close. Danny keeps reminding everyone he has a girlfriend, and the husband keeps reminding him that nothing from a session leaves it and that his wife never hears a refusal. The workout ends, the day apparently does not, and Danny is left asking what is going on.
Who's who
- Danny: a trainer with a girlfriend, a suspicious paycheck and no idea how to refuse
- Simone: the client, playful and unhurried, who treats every exercise cue as a dare
- Mr. Grant: the husband, genial and watchful, writing rules for an arrangement he clearly enjoys
Viewers drawn to cuckold setups where the husband is the architect, and to a hapless hero slowly realizing what he signed up for.
You dislike cuckold dynamics: the husband is the true center of gravity, watching everything and setting every term.
Verdict: 6.3 out of 10
The joke is in the job description, and the show lets it unfold with a straight face. Mr. Grant is the most interesting person here, cheerful and controlling, which gives the familiar trainer premise an odd, specific edge. Simone is playful but less defined so far, and Danny's protests about his girlfriend become a running gag by episode 2. The rules scene gives the series a structure to escalate. Worth continuing if the husband's game is what draws you.
