The setup

Five years married, five summers in the same hotel room, and the husband has stopped pretending the trip is about the view. His wife keeps ordering fruit nobody eats; he keeps finding reasons to answer the door, because of the woman who brings it. Episode 1 is one slow lean: small talk at the threshold, a shower running in the next room, and a maid who has clearly noticed she is being watched. It cuts out the moment his wife calls from the bathroom.

Episode 2

Episode 2 turns the shower into a countdown. The wife wants her conditioner, the maid plays the polite professional for exactly as long as it takes to cross the room, and the minutes left on that shower become the only plot that matters. It is a farce built on a fifteen-minute window, and it stops on a promise rather than a payoff.

• The husband: bored with the anniversary script and far too interested in the doorbell
• The maid: unbothered, a step ahead, and the one actually running the scene
• The wife: mostly offscreen, and the clock everyone is racing

Verdict: 6.1 out of 10

Room Service knows exactly what it is: one room, one temptation and a running clock. The writing is lean and the timing is the joke, which makes the two free episodes feel like a finished sketch. Whether you pay to see the rest depends on how much you enjoy watching a man gamble his anniversary on a fruit basket.
