The setup

Before leaving town, Dad sets one rule: his wife is the boss now, and his grown son does as she says. She happens to be 22, and she plans to enjoy the authority. She addresses her stepson as son with a straight face, praises his obedience, and starts issuing numbered rules: his phone gets surrendered, he knocks before entering her room, and rule three is held back for later. Then she recruits him to hold her legs while she stretches, the way his father apparently does. Later he peeks through her door, and she catches him.

Episode 2

Now the peeping runs the other way. She turns up at his door, noting there is no rule requiring her to knock, though she does anyway out of courtesy. He protests that she is his father's wife. She reminds him he watched her for a solid minute, dismisses the accident excuse, and admits she enjoyed it. Then she reveals rule three, a reversal of what just happened: this time he is the audience, and looking away is not allowed.

Verdict: 6.4 out of 10

Numbered rules give this a smart spine: they hand the stepmom a reason to keep escalating and the viewer a countdown. Rule three, held back through episode 1, pays off with a clean reversal that makes episode 2 feel structured rather than padded. The stepson is mostly gulps and protests, and the dialogue leans on the same few words. Still, the stepmom has command and timing. The free episodes establish a game with clear rules, and the paid ones carry an obvious invitation to keep playing.
