The setup

Everyone else has taken the boat out, which leaves two hours and an empty house by the water. The wedding that just joined their families technically made these two cousins, a fact one of them finds disturbing and the other finds irrelevant. Her phone keeps buzzing with calls from Tyler, and she keeps ignoring them. Then her sister Chloe appears holding a photo and an ultimatum: a visit to her room tonight, or the evidence goes straight to Tyler. Chloe has wanted him ever since the ceremony, and now she has leverage.

Episode 2

He shows up at Chloe's door at the appointed hour, photo still loaded and terms unchanged: a single night, or the picture goes to Tyler. Then someone calls her bluff, tells her to go ahead and send it, and walks out with him. What follows is giddy disbelief at what they just did, a pact to let tomorrow deal with tonight, and an agreement that there is no going back. The closing question has teeth: did Chloe actually tell Tyler?

This one moves. In about a minute you get a forbidden fling, a ringing phone, and a blackmailer with a crush, which is more plot than some series manage in a whole season. The second episode smartly refuses to play the ultimatum straight, turning a hostage situation into a getaway. The coercion angle will not suit everyone, and the dialogue is mostly gasps. Still, with Tyler and a loaded photo hanging over everything, the paid episodes have real stakes.
