The setup
A man and his girlfriend are settling into their apartment when Daisy, his stepsister, appears at the door announcing that Dad approved a summer stay. She greets him like a long-lost favorite, compliments the girlfriend in a way that is not exactly sisterly, and heads straight for the shower. His voiceover admits the problem: he wants Daisy, right there, with his girlfriend a room away. Daisy notices the effect she has and says so. The girlfriend demands to know what this woman's problem is, he promises a talk, and the episode stops on a question nobody answers yet.
Episode 2
Daisy offers him a look beneath the towel while the girlfriend checks whether the promised talk has happened. When he finally gets Daisy alone, the backstory drops: the two of them hooked up once, at a wedding, and he considers it closed. She came specifically to reopen it. Being his secret is the part she misses. She wants one more night, swears she will behave afterward, and ends by suggesting the girlfriend join them.
Who's who
- Daisy: the stepsister, shameless, cheerful and determined to wreck the arrangement
- The stepbro: a man trying to be a good boyfriend and slowly losing the argument with himself
- The girlfriend: sharp-eyed, unimpressed, and one thin wall away from finding out
Fans of brazen stepsister chaos, where the girlfriend is one wall away and the stepsister treats that as a selling point.
You prefer a slow burn: Daisy skips the courtship entirely and opens with a towel and a dare.
Verdict: 7.7 out of 10
Daisy is a wrecking ball with a suitcase, and the show is smart to make her funny rather than menacing. The wedding reveal in Episode 2 helps a lot: it turns a one-joke premise into unfinished business, and the stepbrother's guilt becomes believable. The girlfriend is underused so far, mostly a reason to whisper. With Daisy's final offer on the table, the paid episodes have an obvious and tempting question to answer.
