The setup
Lost in a forest and drenched by a downpour, a man stumbles into a convent and asks to shelter until the rain passes. One nun answers with alarming enthusiasm, the other rushes to translate it into something holier, and the eager one soon suggests he lose the wet clothes. He changes into a borrowed gown, and one sister is suspiciously present for it. At dinner, someone knows to the month how long it has been since a man stayed over. Grace covers whichever sea creature is in trouble, peace on earth, and forgiveness for whatever they have planned tonight.
Episode 2
The stranger opens episode 2 by asking what they have in store for him. Nothing, says one sister. The other scolds her for making a guest feel unwanted, claims Lucia was merely praying, and admits she was brainstorming. He retires early, the bolder nun offers a bell for any need at all, and a late coffee sends him into the hall. There the shyer sister finds him, eager to act before her nerve fails or her colleague shows up.
Who's who
- The stranger: lost, soaked, and slowly realizing the convent's welcome comes with an agenda
- The bold sister: the eager one, who treats hospitality as a contact sport
- Lucia: the quieter nun, mortified by her colleague's lines, until suddenly she is not
Viewers who like their taboo with jokes, where two very different nuns turn a rainy night into a bedroom farce.
You find religious settings off-limits for comedy or heat, since the convent is both the joke and the temptation.
Verdict: 6.6 out of 10
Genuinely funny, which is rarer than it ought to be in this format. The double act works: one nun says the quiet part out loud, the other scrambles to cover, and the grace scene, with its confused wildlife intercession, is a small comic gem. Episode 2 keeps the rhythm with the praying versus brainstorming excuse before switching to whispered urgency in the dark. The stranger is a straight man and does the job. If the paid episodes keep this timing, they are worth the trip.
