The setup
Solene Yoon came to an island resort for cocktails and freedom, and her father sent a shadow instead. The new bodyguard answers every complaint with polite, immovable calm, which she treats as a dare. At the bar a man pushes a drink on her past two refusals and ends up soaking wet, courtesy of the shadow. Solene threatens to have him fired with one phone call; he invites her to dial. She prefers another theory, that he acted out of jealousy, and the episode cuts out as she accuses him of lying about it.
Episode 2
Her father calls to check on the party and proves less sympathetic than she hoped. Solene complains about the brute shadowing her; he counts the guards he has already burned through lately and warns that someone wants her hurt. So she switches tactics and orders the bodyguard to drink with her, a pour strong enough to make her gasp. The final word goes to her father, who reminds the guard he is paid to protect her and nothing more.

Her father's closing warning is the smartest move here, since it makes every future glance a firing offense. The cocktail order is clumsy business, but the forbidden line is drawn in bold, and the paid episodes have one clear question to settle: how long the guard stays on his side of it.
