The setup
Kittara starts the morning fully in character as a house cat: nudging her partner awake, demanding to be petted, serving him breakfast and then eyeing his plate with clear feline intent. He plays along, mostly. Then his phone lights up and she assumes another woman, but the truth is worse. A scholarship he applied for has come through, and he is leaving now, not someday. The episode ends at a closed door, with his pleading on one side and a very human refusal on the other.
Episode 2
Episode 2 is the long goodbye. He finally asks her to drop the cat routine, and she admits it was always for his benefit. She claims something of his because it carries his scent, begs for one last stretch of kisses, and confesses she cannot picture life once he is gone. It closes on a vow to keep him happy from a distance, sealed with one more meow.
Who's who
- Kittara: a woman who lives half in character as a purring house cat, and fully devoted
- Her partner: amused by the cat act until a scholarship hands him a reason to leave
Viewers who like their romance soft, clingy and a bit absurd, with pet play standing in for heavy drama.
You find grown adults meowing at each other more embarrassing than endearing, because that is the whole texture here.
Verdict: 6.4 out of 10
The cat routine is either the charm or the dealbreaker, and the show plays it completely straight. Underneath the meowing sits a plain breakup story: one partner lands an opportunity, the other hears abandonment. That second thread has genuine ache, but the opener spends most of its runtime on petting and purring before anything happens. The free pair plays like a finished, melancholy song. Paying on means betting that the distance becomes more interesting than the doorway.
