The setup
Ryan's brother drops by and meets Molly, the fiancee, who teases him as the lesser sibling until he points out he turns thirty next week. Ryan is out. Molly teaches yoga online, and within a minute she has her guest on a mat and out of his shirt, purely for sweat management, of course. Between poses she explains why she works from home: Ryan forbids studio jobs because he hates her putting hands on anyone else. That detail lands just as Ryan's voice comes from the doorway, calling her name.
Episode 2
Ryan opens Episode 2 by warning her off, and Molly calls it a pose adjustment. Their fight suggests both have a point: he claims he knows what she is like, she accuses him of hiding her away like something dangerous. Back with the brother, she rates his physique below Ryan's, the talk drifts to kissing, and she serves a protein-heavy chocolate dessert that needs suspiciously thorough stirring. It ends on a wardrobe slip she has noticed.
Who's who
- Molly: Ryan's fiancee, an online yoga teacher with a talent for hands-on corrections
- Ryan's brother: the houseguest turning thirty, easy to talk out of his shirt
- Ryan: Molly's fiance, possessive or simply wary, and the show keeps you guessing which
Viewers who like a manipulator whose motives stay murky, with yoga, dessert and a jealous fiance supplying the excuses.
You want honest characters: everyone here is working an angle, and nobody admits which one.
Verdict: 6.6 out of 10
The yoga setup is generic, but the show gets one thing right: Ryan's control and Molly's flirting feed each other, so you cannot tell who is the victim. The fight in Episode 2 is the most interesting minute in either episode. The mousse scene, by contrast, is a premise searching for a punchline. It is a decent setup that hints at more than it delivers, and the title promises scheming the free episodes only sketch.
