The setup

For ten years the husband has lost every round to his wife's sister, and their foursome treats it as tradition. Today the carts get reshuffled: the fourth player claims his wife Tessa, which leaves him riding with D. She passes along Tessa's theory that he throws the games; he replies that he would lose more gracefully if that were true. Then D starts fixing his grip, steps in close to demonstrate, and notes that nobody can see them. It closes on a wager: winner of the next hole decides what happens to the loser, and she has already picked.

Episode 2

The other cart comes looking, D claims she was just giving pointers, and the bet is sealed in one word. The others head for the clubhouse; she insists their game is not finished. He goes one up, then catches himself staring and imagines his wife's verdict. A downpour sends them running for the cart barn, the hole ends tied, and D, who turns out to be Diana, wants her prize anyway, plus a pointed comparison with her sister.

Here foreplay comes disguised as a swing lesson, and it works. The ten-year losing streak gives the flirting a history, so D's sudden interest in his grip reads as a decision rather than an accident. Episode 2 leans on a convenient rainstorm and a handy barn, which is lazy plumbing, but D collecting on a tied bet is perfectly in character. The double meanings stay thick without turning clumsy, and the rest looks worth a round.
