The setup
His mother Veronica announces a houseguest until Sunday: Sister Dark Angel, a nun. He answers the door expecting someone severe and swears under his breath instead. Carrying her bag up to the guest room, he learns she finds him gentler than the parish crowd, and a remark about how something tastes arrives with obvious intent. Then she invites him to pray with her, and the prayer becomes a wish list about her hands, whatever tonight brings, and forgiveness filed in advance.
Episode 2
Caught watching her the night before, he tries to slip past in episode 2, but his mother cheerfully appoints him the nun's personal helper, and the guest corners him about whether he heard her. Then she explains the deadline: once she takes her vows on Sunday, everything she has never tried becomes off-limits for good. His denial folds at once, and she reveals what her prayer was really about.
Who's who
- Sister Dark Angel: a nun days from taking her vows, praying very specifically for what she wants
- The son: a polite host who falls apart at the front door and gets caught watching that night
- Veronica: his mother, a generous hostess with no idea what she has volunteered him for
Viewers who like forbidden-vow fantasies with a sense of humor, where the prayers double as flirting and Sunday works as a countdown.
You find religious imagery used for innuendo off-putting: the whole series runs on it.
Verdict: 6.1 out of 10
The joke is obvious from the title, and the writing commits to it with real glee: a blessing on her tongue, a prayer about her hands, absolution requested ahead of time. Episode 2 adds the smartest element, a deadline, since her vows give the week a natural clock. He is mostly a bundle of panicked inner monologue, but she carries the scenes with calm mischief. Anyone charmed by the premise will find the rest tempting.
